Actively Responding to the Belt and Road Initiative, SUMEC ENERGY Obtains Rich Fruits in Greece2017-07-26
SUMEC ENERGY has always attached great importance to the business development in Greece. With the deepening of the “Belt and Road” strategy, as a pivot country along the Belt and Road, SUMEC ENERGY will also deepen the business layout in the field of new energy in Greece and strengthen the cooperation with new energy enterprises in Greece.
As a Pioneer in the Belt and Road Initiative, SUMEC ENERGY Achieves Fruitful Results in New Energy Cooperation
As early as in 2012, SUMEC ENERGY had conducted cooperation with JASPER ENERGY GROUP, a well-known energy enterprise in Greece. Now, it comes to Greece again to cooperate with old friend for construction of more new energy projects.
Lately, witnessed by Economic and Commercial Counselor from Chinese Embassy in Greece, National Bank of Greece, Piraeus Bank of Greece, China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, Siemens Gamesa Company and COSCO Greece Branch, SUMEC ENERGY and JASPER ENERGY GROUP signed 76 MW Wind Power Project Framework Cooperation Agreement in Greece. The construction of the Phase I - 20 MW project will start soon.
At the signing ceremony, Cai Jibo, general manager of SUMEC Group gave a speech and said, "SUMEC had started cooperation with JASPER since 2012. So far, it had been the third wind power project. In the past five years, we stood together through storm and stress with our customer, which enhanced not only business cooperation but also firm friendship. The 76 MW wind power project signed with JASPER was significant for SUMEC to expand business in Greece. SUMEC will take this opportunity to play the role of a pioneer in the Belt and Road construction.”
Zhou Ruojun, Economic and Commercial Counselor from Chinese Embassy in Greece said at the signing ceremony that we hoped more and more Chinese enterprises could follow the example of SUMEC and actively respond to the Belt and Road Initiative to conduct business more extensively in Greece for more economic and trade cooperative fruits in both countries.
Going Global by Making Steady Operation and Achieving Great Goal and Gaining Benefits of Both Business and Brand
Just as what Mr. Zhou Ruojun had said, initiation and implementation of the Belt and Road” Initiative had become an important engine for Chinese enterprises to “go global”. SUMEC had undoubtedly taken the lead among most Chinese enterprises.
Facing complicated international environment, SUMEC staff adhere to the enterprise principle of “Making Steady Operation and Achieving Great Goal” and actively conduct business expansion and transformation as well as focus on establishment of new competitive advantages based on their own situation and characteristics. They not only maintained the leading position in overseas engineering but also realized the innovation of “overseas factory pattern”. All these efforts had continuously improved the influence and popularity.
Improvement of enterprise influence and popularity has also been reflected in overseas activities of SUMEC ENERGY. At Thessaloniki International Trade Fair which closed in Greece lately, SUMEC ENERGY was invited to give keynote speeches together with other excellent Chinese Central Enterprises, such as State Grid Corporation of China, China Development Bank, Shenhua Group and China Machinery and Equipment Import and Export Company.
Just as Tan Xiaofeng, guest speaker of SUMEC ENERGY, has said in his speech that SUMEC ENERGY had obtained considerable advantages by cultivating the overseas field of clean energy. Up to now, only in Greece we had confirmed the establishment of two PV power stations and one wind power plant. Moreover, the renewable energy project over 100 MW was just under negotiation.
Constant development of SUMEC ENERGY in Greece not only improves technology and brand strength of enterprise, which will pave the way for western expansion of the Road and Belt construction, but also helps to promote interconnection of electric power between Europe and Asia as well as energy transformation in Europe.
